The wonders of this world are shared daily in Mr. Banks' classes and beyond at Velma Jackson High School (VJ) in Camden, Mississippi in the Madison County School District. This blog began due to a teacher fellowship I received from Earthwatch. See the links below the pictures in the avocado green column. That trip inspired submission of a NSTA Toyota Tapestry Grant that was awarded this year and can be shared in at www.micproject.wikispaces.com.

Man, wish I could do something like that. It really looks like you had a good time while exploring and seeing new things.
Check out the Earthwatch site - I think high school students can apply.
